So we didn't do our blog most of the trip, because we were busy having fun. We did finally make it to Arizona. It felt like we were in the car forever.
We went to the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert. It was so cool. We went on an off trail walk with Ranger Rita. We learned how to figure out if a rock was actually a bone fossil. You lick your finger and stick it to the rock, if your finger sticks it's a bone fossil. We even found some, but we left them there, because it is wrong to take things from a nation park. We also became Jr. Rangers. We did a work book and took a pledge, which is a serious promise. We got a patch and a badge. Cool.
